All American Dogs
When I say All American Dogs, part of me wishes I was talking about hot dogs. The steroids they give me with the chemo mean I’m hungry ALL THE TIME. Geez. But no. In light of election results, whether your team won or lost, we at Jones Natural Chews celebrate All American Dogs. What does that mean?
My dogs, I consider them to be All American. They’re melting pot dogs. They’re cross breeds. They’re rescue dogs, all four of them. Not that I’m against pure bred dogs. I’ve had them and they’re wonderful, too. But I adore my All American dogs. And they don’t care who’s going to be president. They just care that they live with me and I care for them. As an American, I kind of feel that way about my fellow Americans. That we all live together in this country. That we care for each other. That we find things which unify instead of divide. And that we respect each other’s decisions, even if that means some division. Sadly.
You know, there’s division in my own household. Just this morning Gadget and Chewy snuck upstairs to attack the cats. There was plenty of hissing and barking. I had to break it up. Otherwise some little dog would be missing an eye. Sheesh. There’s a metaphor in there somewhere. Someone find it for me, will ya?
All American Treats
So what does All American mean, anyway? For Jones Natural Chews it means that every single ingredient in every one of our products is grown and sourced in America. I say sourced because I’m not sure you can grow salt, a preservative in some or our baked multi ingredient treats. We’re very proud of our Made in the USA status. We’ve even been certified.
I love, particularly, that our All American Dogs eat treats that are good for them. Most of Jones chews are single ingredient treats. Meat. Bones. Yummy stuff that dogs can’t resist. My own dogs favor anything pork. Pig Ears and K9 Bacon Rolls are favorites here, as well as being long lasting chews for small dogs, both single ingredient treats. Mmmm.
