Agility Dilemma
I have an agility dilemma. The AKC National Agility Trials are being held in Tulsa this weekend. I want to go, to take photos of handsome agility dogs. Like this one.

That’s a Pyrenean Shepherd, by the way.
But I’m undergoing chemo and radiation. I’m not sure my oncologist would approve of me tromping around in dusty stalls with strange dogs. If I don’t ask, then the answer is yes, right? Because agility dogs are sweet and beautiful.

So, should I attend? This radiation thing chunks up my day, every day. It happens at one in the afternoon. So, theoretically, I should be able to just swing down to the fairgrounds after radiation. But I’m always tired after radiation.

I think I might go anyway. The AKC National Agility Trials only come to Tulsa every three or four years.

The dogs are so well mannered. And gorgeous. I usually walk around in a daze, marveling at the breed diversity. And watching the tiniest dogs compete always makes me laugh and smile. We’ll see. The one thing which would have cinched it for me would have been Taryn competing with her Corgis. They earned the right to be here this weekend, but Tulsa is mighty far from home for them.
The Giveaway
I think the agility dilemma is more than whether or not I can attend. I also can’t bring Jones Natural Chews. I mean, I have, and dogs always sniff my purse, knowing there’s something delicious in it, but trainers don’t want a stranger giving their dog treats from a ZipLock baggie. I sure as heck wouldn’t want that. And Jones Natural Chews is what I do.
In fact, Jones Natural Chews is so much a part of what I do that I’m giving away a mystery treat to some lucky dog. Have you entered the giveaway yet? Click on this sentence to be taken to the giveaway post, scroll to the bottom, then follow the Rafflecopter instructions to enter. That’s it!
Now go give your dog a treat! And I’ll take a nap, so I’ll be rested up for this afternoon. Maybe the agility dilemma will solve itself?
