The Braided Sticks from Jones Chews

One of our two all-natural, grown and made in the USA treats this month is the Braided Stick. I had the pleasure, last night, of explaining, yet again, the true nature of the Bully Stick. This time it was an entire family gathered ’round and the jokes went on for awhile. See this post if you don’t know what a Bully Stick is. Heh.

The Braided Stick is three braided bullies. Bullies are a long-lasting chew, compared to, say, a Lamb Lung Puff, or one of Jones’ taffies. Bullies are slow baked and tough, a great chew for teeth and gums, sure to keep a small dog busy long enough for you to load a dishwasher or start a load of clothes.

But the Braided Stick will keep your dog chewing a little longer. Some dogs may even take it apart before fully chewing. Let’s see what Jones has to say about the Braided Stick.

OM NOM NOM. I got to watch three dogs in action last night, tearing through the Braided Sticks, stealing them from each other. Y’all have met these dogs before, a while back. Tasha the Shetland mix:

A well-behaved dog with a bone — Tasha the Sheltie mix has the prettiest paws. She’s the household diva dog.

Shruikan the guard dog:

Never interrupt a dog with a chew — OM NOM NOM – did you say something?

And Sage the Husky mix:

Begging for a Braided Bully — You’ll have to take my word for it that that’s Sage – she was all over the place last night with the chews. She is one happy dog.

What did they have to say about the Braided Stick? Well, they liked that the stick is all natural. No added chemicals or preservatives. In fact, the Braided Stick is only one ingredient. They also like that the Braided Stick is completely grown and made in the USA. That made all three dogs happy.

Patient pups wait for treats — They know how to sit. Shruikan is a guard dog and growled or barked at me most of the time. Unless I had a treat in my hand. Then he sat quietly and took the treat like a gentleman. Good dog.

Heh. Nah – even though those things are completely true, the dogs didn’t care. They liked that the Braided Stick is tasty meat and a great chew. Their mama cares about the other stuff. That’s a mama’s job, you know.
