Dogs on the Road Trip

Next week I’ll be telling y’all about the new products I saw at the Total Pet Expo, and the deadline for the giveaway is next Tuesday, but today we’ll see some of the handsome dogs I met on the road trip to and from Chicago! Y’all already met Maya and Pierson –

Sweet Border — Pierson is my favorite. Shh! Don’t tell Maya. This was the first day of the road trip, and most excellent it was.

And the Pugs, Stella Rose, Maggie and Gussie –

A Pug mama and treats — Is that a flying disk full of Jones treats? Yes it is! The three little Pugs have a new best friend. And plenty of treats!

But have you seen the Tiger Dog?

Tiger Dog — Hobbes! It’s Hobbes! This Tiger Dog surprised and delighted people all day.

Or the Psychedelic Poodle?

Purple Poodle — A purple rainbow is so pretty on a Poodle. Carma Poodale really should have this done to her furs.

How about the most adorable puppy ever to fall asleep inside a Jones Natural Chews rolling box?

Sleeping yellow lab pup — OMD – this sleeping 8 week Yellow Lab about killed us all with its cuteness.

Then there was Rocky, the Jones mascot – the ladies love him.

Ride 'em, cowgirl! — From this tiny cowgirl who immediately climbed on for a ride …

Jenna and Rocky — To Jenna, who’s known Rocky all her life …

Riding the mascot — To Nicole, Rocky’s new best girl, this dog has captured ladies’ hearts everywhere he goes.

So many dogs! I’ll just run through some of the others briefly …

Petite Pug Spokesdog — This Petite Pug is the mascot for the booth directly behind ours. She’s the tiniest Pug I’d ever seen. The company is called PLAY – Pet Lifestyle and You.

Sugar the Golden loves Jones! — Sugar came by, OF COURSE, and snagged a Slammer Bone from Jones. She’s a bone junky and needed her fix. 🙂 We just love sweet Sugar half to death, and it was good to see her in Chicago!

Cyrus the Rottie — Cyrus the Rottweiler is an agility dog. Who knew?!? He’s GORGEOUS, and let me scratch his rear end for a bit.

Stephens Cur — This cutie pie is a Stephens Cur. His mama says he has a mind of his own. He’s too cute to be willful, yes?

Maggie — O hai! This isn’t a dog! It’s Maggie, from Oh My Dog! Maggie and I met up in New Orleans last year, but she’s recently moved back north. It was so good to see her again!

Jumbo Bone — Speaking of not a dog, I’m not. And I was thinking that in case there was ever a contest for who has the biggest bone, I’d win. This is a Jumbo Bone from Jones and it’s HUGE.

There you have it! My Chicago road trip in a nutshell! Or in photos. It was a blast!
