It’s Friday! Follow Up Friday, courtesy of Jodi at Heart Like a Dog. I swear, y’all, I wanted to type in C is for Chicks this morning. Maybe long-term themes just aren’t for me. But! I have chicks! Check ’em out:
How adorable are they? They’re not old enough, yet, to eat Jones Chicken Taffy, and I won’t be keeping them long enough to give it to them. In fact, the farm I’m taking them to has dogs, so those pups will be the recipients of some Jones bones and Pig Ears. See how that works? I bring you something I want to get rid of, and I bring treats!
They’re just too cute. Chewy thinks they’re cute, too. I had all six on my shoulders and chest last night and this was Chewy:
Honest to Pete, Chewy stood and barked and barked at the box the chicks are in. I had to throw him outside. I could see the wheels turning in his little head. I even tried treats as a distraction. As much as he loves the Big Paw Beef Jerky, it was a no-go. He just had to have those chicks.
So. What else, this being follow-up Friday? Hmm … Blog Paws is next week! And I’ll be there! Jones will have a booth at Blog Paws again this year, and Suzy, Laura and I will be giving out treats to good little dogs and their mamas and daddies. We’ll also have a surprise! It’s a good surprise. Come to the Jones booth and find me. Follow the peeps.
But who will take care of all my critters while I’m gone?!? Hunny will be out of town with two of the kids for three days. My middle child:
tried to convince me that he could care well for the three dogs, cat, chickens and duck while we’re all gone, and go to work. Nope. Not happening. My wonderful mom is coming over with her little Honey and taking care of everyone. No parties while I’m gone, boy.
