Happy Funny Bone Monday, everyone! I’m prone to introspection today, since I’ll be leaving my family in charge of the house and animals when I leave for Bark World. Why self-examination? I’m looking at everything I do around the house so I can make lists for them all. If I don’t, I’ll come home to piles of poo and dead animals. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Here’s what I’m hoping – I’m hoping that my children will be prompted to see themselves this week. Take responsibility. At the very least we can enjoy dogs who are introspective, because I don’t have a lot of faith in my kids’ ability to do it. Shall we?
How cute is that? Have your dogs ever done this? I’ve never seen mine play with the dog in the mirror, but they were three when they came to us. It’s adorable!
This next dog is not amused by his own reflection. Poor dear.

He’s so cute. I had dinner with his new mom this weekend and she says that he bites her dogs and is boss of the goat and chicken yard. She loves him. How could she not?
So Bark World is this week. I’m pretty excited. My boy won’t loan me his hat, though, so it’s going to be the vanilla flavored version of me at Bark World. So sad.
Tomorrow we’ll have a guest post! I’m pretty psyched about that, too. 🙂 I’ll be boarding a plane for Atlanta tomorrow, spending a couple of days with my favorite aunt before running with my blogging pack. So be nice to the guest post person? Please? Y’all are some of the nicest people I know. Thank you.
And I should probably leave a bag of treats for the dogs. I’ll have to write that on someone’s list (each person gets his or her own list) – give dogs treats, because they’re behaving better than you are. My poor kids.
