Happy Valentine’s Day from the dog. Your dog wants you to know that it loves you very much. If it could, your dog would give you chocolate and roses. Or just a steak dinner. But since your dog can’t do that, your dog would like you to know that there’s a little something you can do for it for Valentine’s Day.
What? You don’t believe me? Try a little experiment for me and see if it’s not true.
- Grab your dog’s favorite treat
- Grab a bag of Jones Natural Chews Lamb Lung Puffs, or Beef Liver Taffy, or a Pig Ear
- Stand across the room from the dog and holler, “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
- Once the dog comes running, hold out the old favorite treat and the Jones Natural Chew
Now, tell me which one your dog went for. I already know the answer. See this dog? This dog is extremely well mannered, doesn’t beg, doesn’t crowd personal space. Partly because this dog only has two working legs.

This dog was all up in my personal space, shocking his foster mom. She said she’d never seen him so adamant about getting treats. Oh, and this dog needs a home. I’ll tell more of his story next week, but he truly is a gentleman. It would be a Happy Valentine’s Day, indeed, if someone adopted him.
Just to take you into a great weekend, and because the dog wants you to have a Happy Valentine’s Day, I’ve prepared some images just for you.

Now, just to be sure you and your dog have a happy Valentine’s Day, pop over to the giveaway post and enter to win the Beef Knee Cap. Tweeting daily greatly increases your chances. It’ll make your dog smile. Promise. And your dog will know if you don’t enter. Don’t ask me how. Dogs just know these things. Do you really want your dog to pout all the way through the weekend of true love? I didn’t think so.

So do the right thing. Because you love your dog. And because it’s what your dog would do for you. Jones Natural Chews.
