Happy Tasty Tuesday, this first Tuesday in August! Being the first Tuesday of the month, it’s also a giveaway! This month we celebrate the wonder of Jones Natural Chews Hooves and Sausage Sticks. Chewy and I were testing the Sausage Sticks last night, just for y’all’s benefit.
He’s a fan.
What’s so beautiful about each of these treats? Let’s look at them separately, in brief, and I’ll expound on Tuesdays following. The Hooves first:
Patches is my Hoof fan here. I’m not sure why she loves them so, but they’re far and away her favorite treat. She sneaks them into the bedroom at night when we have a Hoof in the house. They make my eyes water when they’re being chewed.
What is the Hoof from Jones? It’s a cow’s toenail, plain and simple. I’m told that the Hoof can either be really stinky or nearly smell-less, depending on the farm the cow came from. Weird, huh? And the smell is only activated when the dog starts chewing. It’s like a prize pack, not knowing exactly what you’re going to get until you open it. My dog, at least, loves the smell of the stinky ones best.
The beauty of the Jones Hooves is that they’re all natural – not treated with anything at all, making them a single ingredient treat – and that they come from American farms.
The Sausage Stick is meat. It’s a three ingredient treat – beef, rye flour and salt.
Like the Hoof, Sausage Sticks are all natural (beef, rye flour and salt? How much more natural can you get?), and the ingredients all come from American farms. Dogs LOVE the Sausage Sticks. I use them with my dogs for training all the time. And for bribing strange dogs for photos.
So there you have it! This month’s giveaway treats are both equally tantalizing. Which will YOUR dog choose? The Hooves? Or the Sausage Sticks? And here are the giveaway rules:
- Must be a US resident to win
- Must leave a comment on this post on or before midnight CST on Thursday, August 7th
- Must have an email address attached to your comment so I can notify you of your win
- THIS MONTH ONLY – must be a Facebook fan of Jones Natural Chews page!
So go! Leave that comment! Click Like on FaceCrack! And you know your dog is going to want one of these treats whether you win or not, right? Feed stores and smaller pet stores and dog boutiques carry Jones chews, but if you can’t find them near you, they’re as close as a click. Natural Dog Treat Shop carries the entire line of Jones, and several Amazon shops have the product, though none carry everything.
What are you waiting for? Your dog’s destiny awaits!
Until I write again …
