Y’all, we did it. We adopted a lap dog. The ugliest cute lap dog ever. And Hunny is over the moon in love. Check him out:
He looks like a monkey. Seriously. The rescue thinks he’s at least part Affenpinscher. I think he’s most, if not all, Affenpinscher. I mean, just look at that face!
Doesn’t he look like a monkey? The cutest little monkey you’ve ever seen? So far we know he likes Jones Sausage Sticks and Chicken Taffy, as well as Center Bones. I’ll talk more about the adoption and my 14 hour drive to get him later in the week. Let’s get to the funnies! This first one – just steel yourself for the cute. It’s pretty intense.

I’m so excited! Oh, and his name! He came with the name Junior, but Hunny insists we call him Chewy, short for Chewbacca. He sure is a cute little Wookie.
He has the long legs of a Wookie. I think Hunny is going to make him an Ammo belt like Chewbacca’s. And here’s what Flash, a real mama’s boy, thinks of Chewy.
They’ll all be fine. Seriously.
