I was deleting phone photos last night, having uploaded to the computer to make room for more – y’all ever run out of room on your phone because of photos? – and realized that I had photos from February that even I hadn’t seen. They need to see the light of day. I give you Pug Wedding Revisited.

Back in February I attended the Westminster Dog Show with my boss. It was GLORIOUS. Dogs everywhere. Beautiful, purebred, groomed dogs. But the night before all of that kicked off, I attended a Pug wedding, at the invitation of my good friend Carol Bryant, Dexter’s mother.

Pugs for Pinky is a fund raiser for Pugs with severe health issues. Dog weddings are a fun way to raise awareness and funds at the same time. Who doesn’t want to attend a dog wedding? Get dressed up, see fancy dogs and cats, eat interesting foods, then dance! It was a blast!

Y’all, it was a blast. Thank you for letting me revisit the Pug wedding. If you ever have the opportunity to attend a dog wedding, do. The wedding party is the best thing about it. Well, the people are a lot of fun, too. But DOGS! Everywhere! There was even a table full of treats just for the wedding party. Next time I’ll bring Jones Natural Chews. That’ll make the wedding attendees smile.
Until I write again …
