We’ll be announcing the winner of the BlogPaws swag at the end of today’s post, so stay tuned! And we’ll be talking about the Rocky’s Rollers flavors.

Haven’t seen the Rocky’s Rollers in a store near you? That’s probably because they’re new dog treats from Jones Natural Chews. Jones works on making sure distributors know about their new treats. Distributors get them into the hands of the shop keeps.

I work on making you, the dog people, aware of the new treats. You ask your shop keeps why the heck they’re not carrying them yet. See how that works? And what great new treats these are!

Every time I’ve come near any dog with a Rocky’s Roller of any flavor, they’ve done whatever I’ve asked to get them. Which sounds great, but I’ll be honest with you – that happens to me with every single treat from Jones Natural Chews that I’ve ever given dogs, with very few exceptions.

And why not? The Jones family, a whole slew of which work for and run the company, have been in the meat business for more than 150 years. From slaughter house to butcher shop, they know meat. The Jones siblings grew up from wee children working side by side with their daddy in the butcher shop. They know from meat cuts and bones, how to smoke and bake it just right. They know every blessed part of every animal. Dogs appreciate that kind of knowledge and experience more than you or I can imagine. At least, I like to think so. 😉

All that experience means that Jones Natural Chews are mostly meat. Not some coated treats with a ton of other ingredients. Nope. Jones are not only 100% all natural and 100% USA grown and produced, there are very few ingredients in any of their treats, including the Rocky’s Rollers. Nine and ten ingredients in each of the flavors. The first ingredient being the meat. The good stuff. And your dog knows the difference.

I’m hoping that you don’t have any milkbones in your cupboard, but if you do, take out the box and read the ingredient list. Go on. I’ll wait. Now, here’s the ingredient list for a Rocky’s Roller.
- lamb
- lamb lung
- rye flour
- glycerin
- brown sugar
- salt
- liquid smoke flavoring
- natural mixed tocopherols (preservative)
- rosemary extract
- collagen casing
Crazy, huh? All good stuff. So if you can’t find them at your local shop which sells Jones chews, just ask if they’ll get them for you. Your dog is going to love them. Which will make your dog smile. Naturally.

And now! The BlogPaws swag winner!
