Stuffed Windees
Stuffed Windees are the treat you never knew your dog couldn’t live without. Seriously. I’ve been begging Jones Natural Chews to make this for YEARS. Jodi Chick, over at Kol’s Notes, has been stuffing her own Windees for her dogs for a long time, as have I, but the results are messier. These new treats are BRILLIANT! And much cleaner. What’s a Stuffed Windee?
The Windee from Jones Natural Chews is a cow trachea, plain and simple. Dogs love this treat which is high in glucosamine and chondroitin, and will scarf it down as quick as can be. Now Jones has stuffed the Windee full of their chicken and rice mix!
This same chicken and rice mix is what the new Stuffed Hoof is filled with. Let’s take a look at the all natural ingredient list for this filling.

- molasses
- water
- vegetable glycerin
- rye flour
- rice flour
- citric acid
- buffered white distilled vinegar
- vegetable oil
- mixed tocopherols (preservative)
- lecithin
- rosemary extract
Y’all, this smells so good that you’re going to want to eat it. Everything on that list is good for humans as well as dogs. But it’s not seasoned to a human palate, so you’d probably find it bland. Your dog, on the other hand, is going to LOOOOOVE this treat!
The Windee Jones uses for its Stuffed Windees is three inches long. All of our ingredients are grown on American farms. All of the dogs I’ve given them to have been American dogs (but only because I haven’t traveled outside of the US). I’ll bet your American OR foreign dog would love this treat. Sadly, I can only ship the Stuffed Windees to a winner in the contiguous US, even though our products are sold in other countries. I blame the Canadian Mail Moose for this.
