The Cute face — No, Chewy, not you. You’re not eligible to win any Jones treats. You get boxes of Jones sent to your door. Dang it, Chewy! Stop looking so cute!

The second this is this contest that Jones is part of. Help us win? I love giving things away, but it’s fun to be part of a contest for someone else sometimes. I’ll be heading north in just over a week to attend the Backer’s expo in Chicago. When you click the link, I think you have to like the expo page, then DIRECTLY under the Like button is a “Top 10 All Natural Contest” link. Click that and scroll. It’s alphabetical. The "Please" face — How can you resist Chewy’s “please” face? You can’t. You know you can’t. Go vote. Please?

Then there’s that. That being the most adorable coat ever for the Chew Meister. My mom popped in yesterday with a wee wool jacket for Chewy and now he’s the cutest lumberjack you’ve ever seen.

Lumberjack dog jacket — There’s a little pocket on the back and everything!

Is that not to *squeeeee* for?! There’s a collar, a pocket on the back, and it velcroes below and in front. A buttonhole on top allows for the ring for snapping on his leash.

Happy Affenpinscher mix — See the pocket on his back? There was a treat and a poop bag tucked into the pocket. Chewy found the treat right away. And he only tried taking it off once, grabbing the front flap in his teeth and trying to pull open the velcro.

Chewy doesn’t have thick fur, and he’s all muscle. No fat on this little dog. So he shivered all winter. I kept him covered up, but it was inconvenient to do so. This jacket is pawsome! And his bestie, Honey, has a matching jacket, both lined with black wool flannel.

Matching lumberjack jackets — I love Honey’s matching jacket. Hers has a ruffle at the back end, no collar, and pearl buttons at the front flap. *squeeeee*

Y’all, this is a great Thursday that. Yes? Another great Thursday that is a shameless plug for my talented mother. It’s September, which means that the timing is perfect to order a portrait of your dog in time for Christmas. You’re going to love what you see.

Colored Pencil Australian Shepherd — My favorite of my mom’s art work, done in colored pencil. Clee-o was a handsome dog. She loved Jones Natural Chews pig ears. This, done from two fuzzy photos of our Clee-o, captured her perfectly.
