BlogPaws is just over a month away! I’ve seen people referencing it in their blogs lately, either they’re going, or they want to go … are you going to BlogPaws? I AM!
My employer, Jones Natural Chews, is a sponsor this year, so we’ll have a table there. My boss, Suzy, will be there. Y’all will get to meet the person I bother all the time with questions and requests. “Can we do this?” “Does this treat have this in it?” What treat is best for this size dog?” I’m sure she gets tired of my emails. Just wait till I get to spend all day with her at a table! I’m sure she’s super excited. 😉
I lay awake last night till midnight thinking of the people I’ve met at Bark World and the Expo. The list isn’t very long, and I want it to more than triple at BlogPaws. Let’s run down who I’ve met in real life:
- Christie, at Life With Beagle – Christie is an amazing net worker. If y’all want to learn how to be a better blogger, drive more traffic to your site, connect with bloggers and get your message out, talk to Christie. Seriously.
- Pepper’s Mom (whose name escapes me and I can’t find it on her blog), at Pepper’s Paws – the owner of the cutest little Pomeranian you ever want to see, and a woman who knows how to get her dog’s name and face out in the public arena.
- I met Cosmo Havanese and his mama, Diane, from To Dog with Love – Cosmo has since passed over the Rainbow Bridge, but he was a sweet beauty of a dog. Diane is a quiet, gentle dog owner, involved in agility and dog SCUBA. True story. Check it out.
- Beth and Gizmo, from Terrier Torrent – I LOVE Beth! She’s probably one of my favorite IRL blog people so far. We met at the Expo in Orlando in February and walked the floor together, picking up treats and free things to sample and blog about. What fun!
I’m sure I met other bloggers, but can’t remember, right now, who they are. Like I said, I was making this list at midnight as my brain was fuzzy and falling asleep. My POINT is, attending a blogging event is way fun, you meet people in real life that you already know online, and networking is invaluable at these events. You want to be there.
I’ll be there. You want to meet the Good Flea, right? And see what I have up my sleeve for our table at BlogPaws? Because it will be different. And fun. You know you want to be there and meet me.
I won’t twist your arm anymore. I know it costs money. I’m going the week before my middle child graduates from high school, so it costs valuable time. But if you ARE going, tell me! Please? And introduce yourself! I look forward to meeting you!
